Long Description:
From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Edgington Road, FR1505, and travel generally S for about 4.1 miles. Turn right onto FR1505-470 and continue generally WSW for about 0.3 miles until the road peters out, then 0.2 miles W to the quarter corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 8" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal on an orange Carsonite post which bears S, 36" distant. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest all around; also see Oregon Corner Restoration Record #0263, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
