Hutto is proudly known as the “Hippo Capital of Texas". The Hutto Chamber of Commerce has cement hippos for sale. Each owner gets to paint/decorate their own.

Tovar's Automotive shows their hometown pride with a hippo in front of their building. The hippo is painted like a race car. Its head is yellow, going to red flames. The legs and butt of the hippo is black.
Attached to the hippo is a spoiler and some large pipes.
