EN: The stone fountain stands at a crossroads opposite the town hall in the center of Rodersdorf. The rectangular basin has a size of about 3 by 5 meters. The coat of arms of Rodersdorf is engraved on the front and also atop the column as a metal silhouette.
The basin side bears the coat of arms of the canton of Solothurn and the year 1897. The fountain has obviously been recently cleaned and renovated; it looks much younger.
DE: Der Steinbrunnen steht an einer Strassenkreuzung gegenüber des Gemeindehauses im Zentrum von Rodersdorf. Der rechteckige Brunnen hat eine Grösse von etwa 3 auf 5 Meter. An der Stirnseite ist das Wappen von Rodersdorf eingraviert und auf der Brunnensäule befindet es sich nochmals als Metallsilhouette.
An der Seite ist das Becken mit einem Wappen des Kantons Solothurn und der Jahreszahl 1897 versehen. Der Brunnen ist offensichtlich kürzlich gereinigt und renoviert worden; er sieht viel jünger aus.
