Attractive fountain designs, on a broad base of popularity are supposed to make the centre of the city feeling homely. They make the city attractive to those who live in it, buyers or companies, administrations. Institutions often initiate the installation of such decoration and animation art and finance it. An example of this is the "Ständebrunnen" next to the Johanniskirche, which is an initiative of the Landschaftliche Brandkasse. Representatives of the clergy, the nobility, the bourgeoisie, can be turned around in circles on the well and whoever wishes, can rearrange and dislocate the arms and hands of the bishop, a nobleman or a middle-aged girl.
