The Pfarrkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt was mentioned for the first time in 1347. It was remodeled by Joseph Schmuzer, the architect of Wessobrunn, into a baroque church, which was destroyed during the great fire of 1865. From 1868 to 1871, Matthias Berger built the current three-aisled neo-Gothic church with a retracted choir and a western Spitzhelm tower. Only the main altarpiece painting by Bartolomeo Litterini could be saved and is now on the left side wall of the choir.

The bell tower has a 4-sided clock with golden hands and black Roman numerals on a white background. Our default picture was taken later, which explains the difference in the time indicated.
