Made by Peter D. Cole, using steel, and bronze (mixed), this is outside Building E7B, beside the pathway on the northern side. [It has a brief mention on a PDF document of the Assets of the University, on page 4, of the 28 page document: (

From what I have found on researching this, I don't know if this was made for this site. It appears to be a rusty steel study table, with a rusty stand holding an open book on the side of the 'parkland' (with picnic tables). There is also a rusty post, with what could be a small library represented. On the table is unknown/unidentifiable item on the western side, with what could a bell on the right side of the table, tho it looks like it has a 'tail' coming out from under it ?!?
It was donated to Macquaries University by Mr Geoffrey Cousins.
