[DE] "Die Katholische Pfarrkirche "St. Lambert und Katharina" Niederlützingen wurde in ihrem Kern im Jahr 1271 erbaut und 1873 von Hermann Nebel erweitert. Bemerkenswert ist dabei, dass von vorne herein ein gotisches Gewölbe eingebaut wurde. Außerdem fallen einige hübsche Schlußsteine auf - beispielsweise einer mit einer thronenden Madonna mit Kind. Die Kirche besitzt etliche wertvolle Paramente, Kelche und Monstranzen. Ein alter Taufstein wurde erst kürzlich wieder in einer neu angefügten Kapelle aufgestellt, die im Zuge der Wiederaufrichtung des kurz nach dem Zweiten Weltkriegs eingestürzten Kirchturms eingeplant worden war. Pfarrpatrone sind St. Lambertus und St. Katharina.
Zu Pfingsten 1860 erklang in der Pfarrkirche erstmals eine Orgel. Anfang März 2004 begann die Restaurierung der Kirchenorgel, die 1951 in der Werkstatt der Gebrüder Späth in Ennetach (Baden-Württemberg) gebaut worden war und seit 1965 im Niederlützinger Gotteshaus erklang. Mitarbeiter der Firma "Orgelbau Hugo Mayer" aus dem saarländischen Heusweiler bei Saarbrücken erneuerten Pfeifen. Membranen, Registerbälge und andere Teile, sie bauten ein neues Orgelgebläse ein, reparierten den Spieltisch mitsamt Klaviatur und bauten schließlich alles wieder zusammen. Danach stimmte Intonator Patrick Akroud das Instrument. Elektroarbeiten und Malerarbeiten wurden ebenfalls in den vergangenen Wochen ausgeführt.
Nach Abschluss der Restaurierung fand die Abnahme des Instruments statt durch Bernd Kämpf, Orgelsachverständiger des Bistums Trier. "Das Instrument verfügt jetzt wieder über seine gesamte musikalische Bandbreite", stellte er fest. Was in dem Instrument alles steckt, demonstrierte anschließend Philipp Polic. Der in Kroatien beheimatete junge Mann absolvierte eine Ausbildung zum Orgelbauer bei der Firma "Orgelbau Mayer". In seiner Heimat ist er Organist an der Kathedrale der kroatischen Metropole in Split.
Im Frühsommer 2005 begannen Arbeiten zur Sanierung der Kirche. Die Maßnahme war mit rund 190.000 Euro veranschlagt. Einen Teil davon übernahm das Bistum Trier, den Rest musste die Pfarrgemeinde tragen. Am Mauerwerk des Mittelschiffes, das in seinen ältesten Teilen mehr als 700 Jahre alt ist und aus der zweiten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts stammt, mussten neue Natursteine eingesetzt werden. Der obere Bereich des Mittelschiffs erhielt an vielen Stellen einen neuen Außenputz. Die Fenster des Mittelschiffs - ebenfalls mehrere hundert Jahre alt - wurden in einer Fachwerkstatt in Trier saniert. Nach dem Einbau der Fenster standen Malerarbeiten an den Nischen an.
Dach und Dachstuhl des Gotteshauses sind ebenfalls sanierungsbedürftig."
Aufgeführt ist die Pfarrkirche in der Liste der Kulturdenkmäler für Brohl-Lützing: "ehemaliger Saalbau, 1873, Architekt Ferdinand Nebel, Koblenz, Erweiterung 1923; an der Kirchhofmauer: Wegekreuzfragment, bezeichnet 1755"

On the masonry of the nave, which is more than 700 years old in its oldest parts and dates from the second half of the 13th century, new natural stones had to be used. The upper part of the nave received a new external plaster in many places. The windows of the nave - also several hundred years old - were renovated in a specialist workshop in Trier. After the installation of the windows, painting work started at the niches.
