La Mesa Motel has a Googie Neon sign still attracting guests to this old Mother Road, motor court style motel, typical of the 50's. Located alongside Historic Route 66 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

The La Mesa Motel opened around 1940. This sign is probably from the 1950s or 1960s

La Mesa Motel, Neon Sign looks a bit stressed, & could do with a paint job, The Neon's tubes look intact but a bit skewed.

Looking at trip advisor the Hotel seems to be open, & most guests seem happy. This Route 66 vintage Motel is located in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
