With a bull-nose awning, suspended by three steel rods to the upper floor, it is the only thing that breaks up the 'boxy look' of this rectangular brick building. From Lurline Street this is a two-storey building, but as Leichhardt Street drops steeply to the east, there is an extra part level, with entry from that side.
There are two 'period' double windows for front of the upper floor. The ground level store front had bars protecting the plate glass display window. On the northern brick wall there is five different styles of windows! [Not 'bad', for only eight windows there! Including an: Arched - with 'modern' bi-fold windows; a Double-hung Sash Window; a pair of Casement Windows under a 45° corrugated iron awning; two Bi-fold Heritage windows with a short, and shallow awning each; and three curved, metal-barred, recessed windows for the lower level.
