Félix Leclerc (2 août 1914, La Tuque, Québec, Canada - 8 août 1988, Saint-Pierre-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, Québec, Canada) est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, un chansonnier, un poète, un écrivain et un acteur québécois.
Ses parents, Fabiola Parrot et Léonidas Leclerc, eurent onze enfants. Le 6e fut Félix. Il commence des études à l'Université d'Ottawa, mais est obligé d'arrêter en raison de la Grande Dépression.
Leclerc occupe divers petits boulots avant d'être employé comme animateur radio dans la ville de Québec de 1934 à 1937. En 1937, il écrit des scénarios pour le compte de Radio-Canada à Trois-Rivières, développant des pièces dramatiques à la radio, comme Je me souviens. Il y chante ses premières chansons. Il joue aussi dans diverses pièces dramatiques, incluant Un homme et son péché. Il publie bon nombre de ses scénarios et fonde une compagnie théâtrale qui présente ses pièces à travers le Québec.
En 1950, il est découvert par l'imprésario parisien Jacques Canetti qui l'invite à chanter en France où il obtient beaucoup de succès. Il se produit à l'ABC de Paris. Il signe ensuite un contrat d'enregistrement de disques avec la marque Polydor. Il revient au Québec en 1953.
Il continue à donner des spectacles. Il est aussi présentateur dans le cadre de différentes émissions télévisées culturelles, dont l'une sur les légendes du Québec pour Radio-Canada.
Le 13 août 1974, il participe, avec Gilles Vigneault et Robert Charlebois, au spectacle de la Superfrancofête sur les plaines d'Abraham devant plus de 100 000 spectateurs. Cette prestation est immortalisée sur l'album J'ai vu le loup, le renard, le lion.
Il meurt dans son sommeil, le 8 août 1988 à huit heures, sur l'île d'Orléans, près de Québec, où sont dispersées ses cendres.
Leclerc a été l'instigateur de la tradition des chansonniers québécois. Il fut aussi une voix puissante du nationalisme québécois.
Félix Leclerc est le père du réalisateur Francis Leclerc.

He also plays in various dramatic plays, including A Man and His Sin. He published many of his scripts and founded a theatrical company presenting his plays throughout Quebec.
In 1950, he was discovered by the Parisian impresario Jacques Canetti who invited him to sing in France where he obtained a lot of success. He performs at the ABC of Paris. He then signs a record deal with the Polydor brand. He returned to Quebec in 1953.
He continues to give performances. He is also a presenter on various cultural television programs, including one on Quebec legends for Radio-Canada.
On August 13, 1974, with Gilles Vigneault and Robert Charlebois, he participated in the Superfrancofête show on the Plains of Abraham in front of more than 100,000 spectators. This performance is immortalized on the album I saw the wolf, the fox, the lion.
He died in his sleep on August 8, 1988, at eight o'clock, on the Isle of Orleans, near Quebec, where his ashes were scattered.
Leclerc was the instigator of the tradition of Quebec singers. He was also a powerful voice of Quebec nationalism.
Félix Leclerc is the father of director Francis Leclerc.
