Das kleine Denkmal für den Osnabrücker Künstler Fritz Wolf veranschaulicht den Anlass des Gedenkens mit Porträt, Werkzeug und Arbeitsmaterial des Künstlers gegenständlich unmittelbar und hält sich damit ganz im Rahmen traditioneller Personendenkmäler.

Das Denkmal ist eine Marmorstele mit einer bronzenen Büste, errichtet 2003. Der Kopf ist etwas kleiner als Lebensgröße. Zusätzlich zum bronzenen Kopf finden sich Papier, Feder und Tinte, die Arbeitsmaterialien des Karrikaturisten. Das Denkmal ist ein Werk des Künstlers Werner Klenk.
"Fritz Wolf (* 7. Mai 1918 in Mülheim an der Ruhr; † 23. Dezember 2001 in Bad Rothenfelde) war ein deutscher Grafiker und Karikaturist. Er arbeitete für die Tageszeitung Die Welt, war 35 Jahre lang Mitarbeiter der Illustrierten stern und 25 Jahre Mitarbeiter der Frauenzeitschrift Brigitte. Seit 1952 war er Hauskarikaturist der Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung."

The monument is a marble stele with a bronze bust, built in 2003. The head is slightly smaller than life size. In addition to the bronze head there are paper, pen and ink, the working materials of the caricaturist.
Fritz Wolf (born May 7, 1918 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, † December 23, 2001 in Bad Rothenfelde) was a German graphic artist and caricaturist. He worked for the daily newspaper Die Welt, was an employee of STERN magazine for 35 years and 25 years employee of the women's magazine Brigitte. Since 1952 he was a house cartoonist of the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.
