With a public toilet, this drew us to camp over for the night, as the other spot that we had camped at, next the 'Firehouse' was already taken. There is "NO CAMPING" on the Sports Field, but there is sufficient room at the car park to pitch a few tents. So with the nearby toilets it is a good 'Staging Point' for heading off into the Wilderness that surrounds Mount Wilson.
Visited: Sunday night/Monday morning, 19/20 February, 2017, with my younger son while we camped there.
