[FR] La locomotive DAVENPORT munie d’un moteur diesel Deutz de 232 cv a été déterrée de la rivière cerise de même que de nombreux éléments ayant servi sur le site ferroviaire. Elle a d’ailleurs été baptisée MOÏSE : nom tout à fait circonstancié puisque : sauvée des eaux.
Une portion de chemin de fer traverse le site et une locomotive à vapeur de 1925 vous fait parcourir les plantations.
L’accès au site est facile, totalement libre et gratuit. Aujourd'hui la locomotive est stationnée sous un préau à l'abri des intempéries.
[EN] The DAVENPORT locomotive equipped with a 232 hp Deutz diesel engine was dug out of the Cherry River along with many of the elements used at the railroad site. It has also been called MOSES: name quite circumstantial since: saved from the waters.
A portion of the railway runs through the site and a 1925 steam locomotive takes you through the plantations.
Access to the site is easy, totally free and free. Today the locomotive is parked under a shelter protected from bad weather.
