On the sloping face of the upper sandstone block of this simple Memorial is a cast bronze wreath, with the Legacy torch, and the words, "Lest We Forget". The lettering on the vertical face of the eastern side reads: "In Memory of the Fallen." That angled plinth is on a rectangular sandstone prism which is on a larger sandstone base. There is a flagpole behind it, to the west.
