THE MARK IS ABOUT 9.0 MI (14.5 KM) NORTH OF ANKONA, 5.3 MI SOUTHEAST OF INDRIO, 2.9 MI (4.7 KM) NORTHEAST OF FORT PIERCE, IN
SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 34 SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST.

TO REACH THE MARK FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AND SOUTH STATE HIGHWAY A1A (SEAWAY DRIVE) IN FORT PIERCE, GO EAST ON STATE HIGHWAY A1A FOR 0.7 MI (1.1 KM) TO THE EAST END OF THE BRIDGE OVER THE INDIAN RIVER AND HUTCHINSON ISLAND. CONTINUE NORTHEAST ON STATE ROAD A1A FOR 1.8 MI (2.9 KM) TO A ROUND-ABOUT AND WHERE STATE HIGHWAY A1A TURNS SOUTH AND BECOMES SOUTH OCEAN DRIVE, GO RIGHT ONE HALF OF THE WAY AROUND THE ROUND-ABOUT AND CONTINUE EAST FOR 0.1 MI (0.2 KM) ON SEAWAY DRIVE TO ITS END AT THE BEACH AND A ROAD TO THE NORTH, THAT PARALLELS THE BEACH AND GOES TO FORT PIERCE JETTY PARK. TURN LEFT ON THIS ROAD AND GO NORTH ABOUT 0.05 MI (0.1 KM) TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE PARKING LOT FOR THE PARK. FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE PARKING LOT, WALK ABOUT 140.0 FT (42.7 M) NORTH AND THEN NORTHEAST ALONG THE EASTERN MOST AND MAIN SIDEWALK TO THE Y-JUNCTION OF A SIDEWALK THAT RUNS EAST TO WEST AND PARALLELS THE SOUTH SIDE OF FORT PIERCE INLET AND EVENTUALLY RUNS EAST ALONG THE TOP OF THE ROCK JETTY. TURN RIGHT
AND WALK ABOUT 1020.0 FT (310.9 M) EAST ON THE SIDEWALK TO THE EAST END OF THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK. CONTINUE WALKING 17.0 FT (5.2 M) EAST ATOP THE ROCK JETTY TO THE MARK ON THE LEFT, SET IN THE TOP OF A 3.0 FT (0.9 M) BY 5.0 FT (1.5 M) BY 1.5 FT (0.5 M) HIGH CONCRETE PILLAR THAT IS SET ATOP THE ROCK JETTY, THE CONCRETE FROM THE PILLAR WAS POURED INTO THE ROCKS, THE TOP 1.5 FT (0.5 M) IS SQUARED OFF, THE MARK IS SET IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE PILLAR AND 2.0 FT (0.6 M) ABOVE THE CENTERLINE OF THE JETTY.

ABOUT 250.0 FT (76.2 M) WEST OF THE EAST END OF THE ROCK JETTY THAT IS ABOVE WATER, ABOUT 200.0 FT (61.0 M) EAST OF THE JUNCTION OF THE MAIN JETTY WITH A FINGER JETTY THAT PROJECTS TO THE SOUTH OF THE MAIN JETTY, 17.2 FT (5.2 M) EAST-NORTHEAST OF A WITNESS POST DECAL THAT IS APPLIED TO THE NORTHERN MOST OF FOUR 4.0 FT (1.2 M) HIGH DECORATIVE ALUMINUM POST THAT RUNS NORTH TO SOUTH AND MARKS THE END OF THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK ATOP THE JETTY, EACH POST HAS A SMALL SOLAR LIGHT ON TOP, 17.0 FT (5.2 M) WEST OF THE EAST END OF THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK, 10.0 FT (3.0 M) NORTH OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTERLINE OF THE JETTY, 4.0 FT (1.2 M) WEST OF THE EAST EDGE OF THE PILLAR, 2.4 FT (0.7 M) SOUTH OF THE NORTH EDGE OF THE PILLAR, 1.0 FT (0.3 M) EAST OF THE WEST EDGE OF THE PILLAR AND 0.6 FT (18 CM) NORTH OF THE SOUTH EDGE OF THE PILLAR.
