Joliet Cemetery is in Carbon County, Montana. Joliet offers an array of interesting sculptures along Front Street/Hwy. 212 by local artist Charles Ringer. One is featured as a roadside attraction. His creations are from recycled cars and other discarded metal.

Though we were in Joliet we were unable to locate Romeo, however we did encounter a few very handsome gentlemen who could think themselves as a "Romeo".

Joliet Cemetery is approximately 3 acres in size with some tall trees. It is well maintained and the lawns are green, unlike some cemeteries in the area. Around the area of the cemetery is mostly grazing land and some feed crops catering to the cattle industry.

Joleit Cemetery has approximately 857 known interments with mostly smaller upright granite headstones. The cemetery was established based on the first known interment in 1914:

Atlas Bagley birth unknown and passed away in November 1914.
