At the protestant church in Bendorf is a working clock mounted to the tower.

The watch has a black background, golden hands and golden roman numbers. The year of creation is unknown.

"The today Protestant church was built in 1204. During the Second World War, the building was badly damaged. The rebuilding from 1954 to 1956 was only partial.
The three-aisled Romanesque pillar basilica with square choir, two double bays and semicircular apse has a façade articulated by arched windows and pilaster strips. The clerestory was raised in the 18th century. The side aisles and the choir square are vaulted, in the apse under the windows are five niches recessed.
In 1907, murals dating back to the time when the church was built were laid bare, and they have been well preserved under the whitewash. The figurative paintings in the apse and the triumphal arch were created about 50 years later.
The tower of the church and the bells serve both parishes."
