On Galston Road, at the Recreation Reserve, and next to the Dural Historical Society building, is the Galston Cenotaph, with plaques for the conflicts that locals have been involved.

The sandstone obelisk is the original memorial, for those locals who went off to 'the Great War'. There was 60 locals who went to WW1, and their names are listed on four white marbles plaques, that are one on each of the four sides of the obelisk. There doesn't seem to be any 'order' to the way that there is 15 names on each of the marble plaques. Those Killed In Action have an "*". The four plaque lists are:

Description of Memorial:
3 metre tall obelisk made of local sandstone surmounted by a sandstone canon. Marble plaques on four sides of the obelisk. Bronze plaques on commemorative stones surrounding the obelisk, for World War 2 and multiple conflicts.
