Our Vietnam Era Heroes
Forsaking peaceful shores for distant jungle wars,
They battled steel and man, upheld their national plan.
Though some at home decried, they suffered, bled and died
Performing valorous deed these spartans of our breed.
We now do praise them all, not less for Vietnam's fall
- to History, a mere rift - theirs an unending gift."
