This loon mural is appropriately placed at the entry of Olcott Park since the city park is the site of the annual Land Of the Loon Festival. It was done to celebrate the 40th year of the Land of the Loon Festival and was dedicated to the memory of John Bachman. Virginia artist Spencer Hahne was the creator of this painting which was completed in 2016.
