Having lived in the nearby village Tinonee for 12 years I have driven past this Omnivorous Tree most days on my way to work. Initially this lump of 4" x 2" timber was used to support a stuffed set of work clothes, to represent a man at work, holding a 'Stop/Go' sign (with the "SLOW" side exposed to Bucketts Way.) Occasionally that would dressed in either a Halloween or Christmas theme.

The manikin has been moved to a tree closer to Bucketts Way in the last two years, and then I noticed that the 4" x 2" that had been used to hold the 'worker' in place, was being enclosed by the tree. The tree is about 80 metres up the dirt driveway. So best photographed from the coordinates - in the daytime, obviously, as a Flash would not be strong enough to capture the Omnivorous nature of the Tree.
