TO REACH THE MARK FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AND STATE HIGHWAY 60 (20TH PLACE) IN VERO BEACH, GO NORTHWEST ON U.S. HIGHWAY 1 FOR 2.6 MI TO THE JUNCTION OF 41ST STREET (COUNTY ROAD 630) ON THE LEFT, TURN LEFT ON 41ST STREET AND GO WEST FOR 0.2 MI TO THE INTERSECTION OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, TURN RIGHT ON OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY AND GO NORTH FOR 1.8 MI TO THE SOUTH END OF BRIDGE NUMBER 880062 THAT IS SPANNING THE CANAL AND THE MARK ON THE LEFT, SET FLUSH IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTHEAST RAILROAD ABUTMENT.
LOCATED 78.5 FT WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, 55.0 FT NORTHWEST OF THE SOUTHWEST WING WALL OF BRIDGE NUMBER 880062, 10.0 FT WEST OF THE RAILROAD ABUTMENT WINGWALL, 2.6 FT EAST OF THE EAST RAIL OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS AND 1.0 FT WEST OF THE EAST FACE OF THE ABUTMENT.
