THE MARK IS ABOUT 4.9 MI SOUTHEAST OF WABASSO, 3.7 MI NORTHWEST OF
VERO BEACH, IN SECTION 23, TOWNSHIP 32 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST.

TO REACH THE MARK FROM THE INTERSECTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 1 AND STATE HIGHWAY 60 (20TH PLACE) IN VERO BEACH, GO NORTHWEST ON U.S. HIGHWAY 1 FOR 2.6 MI TO THE JUNCTION OF 41ST STREET (COUNTY ROAD 630) ON THE LEFT, TURN LEFT ON 41ST STREET AND GO WEST FOR 0.2 MI TO THE INTERSECTION OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, TURN RIGHT ON OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY AND GO NORTH FOR 1.1 MI TO THE JUNCTION OF 49TH STREET ON THE LEFT AND THE MARK ON THE LEFT, A STAINLESS STEEL ROD DRIVEN TO REFUSAL AT A DEPTH OF 26.0 FT WITH A NGS LOGO CAP RECESSED 0.6 FT BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE GROUND AND ABOUT LEVEL WITH 49TH STREET, THE DATUM POINT IS RECESSED 0.4 FT BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE NGS LOGO CAP.

LOCATED 54.0 FT NORTH OF THE APPROXIMATE CENTERLINE OF 49TH STREET, 52.6 FT WEST OF THE CENTERLINE OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, 30.6 FT EAST OF THE MOST EAST RAIL OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS AND 1.8 FT EAST OF A CARSONITE WITNESS POST.
