This lime kiln is now in the pub car park, which was on the main road.

When this kiln was in use the main road would have been above the village as the modern road uses the old railway bed which closed in 1960s. The whole village is now bypassed by the A590.

This kiln was hidden until the building hiding it was demolished in 2010.
