This lovely war memorial is located in Ratliff City Cemetery.

As you enter Ratliff City Cemetery, you see this war memorial immediately on your right. There is a large concrete patio with a granite monument, and a group of donation pavers. At both of the far corners are metal silhouettes of a soldier kneeling before the Cross. In the near corner of the patio is a raised circular seal showing a spread eagle and shield.
The monument stands on two horizontal granite bases. The standing monument is gray and has the seals of the five branches of the military at the top. The inscription reads:
This granite stone dedicated to all veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces with devotion, loyalty, honor and their determination to preserve freedom Deo Spes Mea (God is my hope)
