Bad Oeynhausen ist ein Kurort im Kreis Minden-Lübbecke, Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Die Stadt wurde im 19. Jahrhundert als Kurbad gegründet, nachdem auf ihrem Gebiet eine Thermalquelle erbohrt worden war. In der Folgezeit entwickelte sie sich zu einem Kurort von überregionaler Bedeutung und wurde im 20. Jahrhundert zum Standort zahlreicher Spezialkliniken, insbesondere des Herz- und Diabeteszentrums Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Im Kurpark kann man schön spazieren gehen und das Theater im Park (Kurpark) bietet Gastspiele auswärtiger Theater und Konzerte der Bielefelder Philharmoniker und der Nordwestdeutschen Philharmonie an. Ebenfalls im Kurpark befindet sich das GOP-Varieté im Kaiserpalais und am Rande des Kurparks der Jordan-Sprudel, die tiefste artesische Solequelle der Welt.

Bad Oeynhausen is a health resort in the district of Minden-Lübbecke, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The city was founded in the 19th century as a spa after a thermal spring had been drilled on its territory. In the following years it developed into a health resort of national importance and in the 20th century became the location of numerous specialist clinics, in particular the Heart and Diabetes Center of North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the park you can go for a nice walk and the theater in the park (Kurpark) offers guest performances of foreign theaters and concerts of the Bielefeld Philharmonic and the Northwest German Philharmonic. Also in the spa park is the GOP Variety in the Imperial Palace and on the edge of the spa park of the Jordan Sprudel, the deepest artesian brine source in the world.
