At 315 E. Main Street, there is a museum dedicated to the history of the Healdton Oilfield which brought prosperity and growth to this part of Oklahoma back in 1913. There are several memorials on the grounds.
This is a large white granite memorial in three sections. The center section is higher and has a large engraving of the U.S. flag. Names of those veterans from the local area who served in wartime are listed. They served during the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.
The dedication reads:
