There are two 'side' platforms, with a connecting set of steps and gantry footbridge. Platform 2 building was built in 1869, with the refreshments room added in 1884. Platform 1 building was added when the line was duplicated in 1911. It services the Main Western Line, and is 126 km from Central Railway Station. It is now an electrified line. [Wiki: (
