This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is set in the east side of the McClain County Courthouse in Purcell, OK; you will find it just north of the east-side entry doors. The disk, which has tarnished to a striking blue, is worn but still readable; the disk is stamped T 142 and is dated 1934. There is ample parking nearby.
