Gravesite is located in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu, NY, off NY 77.

Amos Tyrell was born 1 July 1760 and died 6 October, 1840 aged 80 years.

He enlisted in Captain John Hamiton's Company, Colonel Alexander Webster's New York Regiment. He served 3 months before being discharged. A copy of the letter verifying his record may be found here: (visit link)

Of note is the Veteran's marker at the gravesite. It erroneously gives the year of birth as 1766, not 1760.
