This is a rough hewn block of granite set on a base of three rows of local sandstone, in a rectangular cemented cairn. One face has been polished and the names engraved and gilded on it. The local soldiers who went to World War One are listed on the large face of the slab, with those who went to World War Two, on a 'ledge', at the bottom of the face. The memorial and adjacent flagpole are set in a small park. The soldiers who went to World War Two, and their inscription, reads:

1939-45	Gunn M.	Knight-Brown N.H.	Le Messurier L.	Smith C. Vietnam#
Clarke G.R.	Kirk S.B.W.	Knight-Brown P.J.	Motteshead G.
Wynne M.O. Gunn K.R.#
