Elizabeth Mayo was born on March 9, 1760 in Roxbury, MA. She married Wilder Stevens around October 1778 in Warwick, MA. She died in childbirth on Sunday, May 5, 1793. Her slate headstone has the image of a winged angel and the inscription:
