Das in den Jahren 1854 bis 1858 entstandene Johannes-Gutenberg-Denkmal steht dem Roßmarkt in Frankfurt am Main und gehört zu den Hauptwerken des Bildhauers Eduard Schmidt von der Launitz. Es wurde als erste Großplastik in der damals neuen, von dem Frankfurter Physiker Rudolf Christian Boettger entwickelten Technik der Galvanoplastik ausgeführt.

Johannes Gensfleisch zur Laden zum Gutenberg (* um 1400 in Mainz; † Februar 1468 ebenda), war ein deutscher Schmied, Goldschmied, Erfinder, Drucker und Verleger und gilt als Erfinder des modernen Buchdrucks mit beweglichen Metalllettern und der Druckerpresse.

Gutenberg ist ein Einschlagkrater auf dem Mond. Er liegt am westlichen Rand von Mare Fecunditatis im östlichen Teil des sichtbaren Mondes. Sein Durchmesser beträgt 70 km, seine Tiefe 2,3 km.

Gutenberg is a impact crater on the moon. It is located on the western edge of Mare Fecunditatis in the eastern part of the visible moon. Its diameter is 70 km, its depth 2.3 km.
