At the intersection with Hood Avenue in Sisters, turn onto Elm Street. In about 0.4 miles, Elm Street becomes FR16, Three Creek Lake Road. Travel S from the intersection for about 3.1 miles. Bear left onto FR1608 and continue for about 0.3 miles to the sixteenth corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; rising 4" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The sixteenth corner bears W, about 60' from the centerline of FR1608. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a U-post which bears W, 32" distant. Found a ponderosa pine with a partly healed blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. In the NW quadrant, there is a yellow BEARING TREE tag on a down western juniper.

private property SW from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest;
