Dupuyer Cemetery is located in Pondera County, Montana. Dupuyer has a population of approximately 86 residents. Dupuyer began as a frontier cattle town and is the oldest town between Fort Benton and the Rocky Mountains. Two whiskey traders settled here to raise cattle in 1874.
Dupuyer Cemetery is less than an acre in size, with native prairie grasses and a clear view of "Montana's Big Sky Country". There are 218 known interments, some with very interesting headstones.
