This wall/gateway was built in 1953 as the entrance to Princeton Community Memorial Park. A plaque is on the gateway which states:

"To The Memory of
those who gave all
in World War II
1939-1945"

Near by this memorial is a second memorial dedicated to World War I and World War II. Also should be noted is this park was the location of a library known as the Soldiers Memorial Library which was built after World War I in 1921 and was taken down in 1997. There is now a library and museum here.
