The limestone block Penong Uniting Church was constructed in 1911 as a Methodist Church to serve the needs of the townsfolk and surrounding farms. Prior to the church being built services were held in the Town Hall and the Penong Station woolshed.
Services are held on the fourth Sunday of alternate months
