This Fire Station is of an unusual design. With a taller section in the middle, it has an aluminium 'panel-lift' or roller door, above which is the Name of the Fire Station has perspex sections so that the Fire Fighting vehicle inside can be seen. Either side are flat roofed, lower brown brick 'box' looking sections, that would be Office, and Stores, either side of the holding bay. Above the left-hand 'box', is the NSW Fire Department Crest, while above the right-hand 'brick box' is "344", the Units identifying number.
There is a decent concrete driveway out to Allandale Street. And behind the building can be seen a tall wooden pole for the raising and draining of used fire hoses.
From Fire Australia, they are in 'Metro North 3 zone'. And, as intuited, 'Staffed by Retained Firefighters'. (

[I was able to get reasonable photos of the Tanker, so may be able to get that as a Waymark as well.]
