Stained glass windows of the Catholic church in Ramsey; Our Lady, Star of the Sea and St. Maughold.

The Three stained glass windows in the South wall of the the main church were designed by James Hogan for Whitefriars and were installed in the Church in 1932 under the direction of Giles Gilbert Scott (visit link) the main architect of the Church.

James Hogan (visit link) collaborated with Scott also with his 100 feet high central window of Liverpool Catherdral in northwest England.

The twin 'Purcell Memorial' windows in the 'Lady Chapel' were designed by Scott and manufactured by Whitefriars Glass for whom Hogan also worked as a designer.

The Whitefriars Glass 'Rebus' can clearly be seen on some of the windows. (Rebus means a heraldic pun. Thus Whitefriars Glass employed a pictogram of a 'White Friar' as their mark on windows they had manufactured.
