The outer (concave aspect) of each sector of the walls, is faced with cream coloured render, and on the left-hand side wall is: "We Will Remember Them", with a 'crusade' sword beneath; while on the right-hand side has the three crests of the: Navy, Army, and Air Force.
Looking through the gap between the walls, from Watkins Road, there is a sectioned, tubular steel flag pole; then a sandstone block 'sarcophagus', which also has a 'Crusader's Sword' on top of it. On the western end is bronze plaque, for 'Australia Remembers' [50 year anniversary of WW2], which reads:
"In Honour of
the men & women who served
Australia in time of conflict
during World War II.
Lest We Forget".
On the southern side is cast bronze representation of a laurel wreath, with a 'Legacy' torch, with the words - Lest We Forget.
On the eastern end is a rectangular bronze plaque, with polished linear edges, which reads:
"In Memory of
KOREA
1950 - 1956"
While, on the northern side (the RSL building side) is a tall rectangular bronze plaque which reads:

On the lower, northern face, below the sarcophagus, facing the RSL, are the words: "Lest We Forget", in large polished bronze letters.
On the convex aspect of the two curved walls, that are substantially brown polished granite, are small, 'individual' plaques for servicemen of the area who gave their lives. [x 39 on the left (east) wall, and x 29 on the right (west) wall]
