At first glance, one might mistake this for a bed frame, but it is most likely intended to be a planter or just an interesting way to mark the plot so as to facilitate maintenance: Some folks in Texas like a nice, clean or even scalped grave. There was a lot of time, love, and effort put into the construction of this enclosure, which is made of stainless steel and so will stand up to the elements that hit Texas so hard sometimes. At the head of the grave is a sheet of black steel, rounded at the corners, and at is center are a crossed hammer and axe. All the lettering is inverted silhouette, and reads:
Clarence Harris
"Alfred"
Born
February 27,
1943
Died
October 28,
2013

Anything You Set Your Mind To

The enclosure is made up of two bars on each long side, with a third added at the foot of the grave. "Dad", "Husband", and "Grandpa" are inverted silhouette on each side, with flying eagles added as detail.
