This fine example of the cemetery fountain is make of concrete with three tiers and a brick border.

There is a newly placed dedicated bench nearby and a war memorial.

Choteau Cemetery is in Teton County with a population of approximately 1,686 in 2016 and is the county seat of Teton County.

Choteau was incorporated in 1913 and is rich in agricultural history and more notable is the first discovery of dinosaur eggs in the Egg Mountain region and is part of the Montana Dinosaur Trail.

Choteau Cemetery is about 20 acres in size, with towering trees throughout the cemetery. It is very well maintained and there are some very interesting headstones, several war memorials and a veterans section. There are approximately 3,095 known interments. The cemetery was established in 1873 noted by the first known interment.
