September 16, 2016 this bench was dedicate to honor Lee Edward Nordahl and All Veterans.

"On December 20, 1965, he was the co-pilot a North American Vigilante Fighter (RA-5C) on a reconnaissance mission near Hon Gay, Quang Ninh Province, North Vietnam when his aircraft was hit be enemy fire and crashed. His remains were not recovered. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial."
