At the northern entry, or exit of Urunga, on the 'old' Pacific Highway, is this wooden boat (skiff), that is hanging from a square, steel frame - as a 'Welcome' (Thanks for Visiting) sign.

Hanging above a WIDE panoramic vista photo of the Kalang River, with the local mountains in the background, is a covered wooden dinghy. It is suspended by shackles, from a length of railway line, on square metal posts which make up the square frame for this 'Welcome to Urunga' or 'Visit Urunga …next time' sign, at the northern entry to this riverside town, on the northern coast of New South Wales.

This is a wooden skiff, about 4 metres long, and would be 5 metres off of the ground, and as long as I can remember (more than 20 years) has been hanging at the northern entrance on the Pacific Highway. (As has the one at the southern entrance!) The bottom of the boat has been painted yellow and has a permanent cover over it.
