 Church whose first stone was laid May 28, 1936 by Bishop Dutoit, Bishop of Arras, in the presence of Gaston Durieux, Mayor of Saint-Martin-Boulogne and the City Council, on a plot offered by the Huret family.
It was during the summer of 1937 that the construction of the building was completed. The architect is Pierre Drobecq, the contractor Louis Martel, the staffer, Mr. Duval, the house Crouÿ, supplier of materials. (The facade is not completely finished, we must wait many more years).
The windows of the choir and the medallion above the entrance door were made in 1937 by the master glassmaker Lothelier. The other windows were made by the master glassmaker Largillier in 1958 and restored in 1984 by MM. Bourdeau and Maeron.
The present altar was designed by Father Houssin. The work was carried out by Ducrocq-Lengagne. It was on November 4, 1956, that he was consecrated by Bishop Parenty in the presence of Father Dewatere, parish priest of Saint Martin, Father Houssin, Mr. Fred Parkes and one of his associates, both of them religious. Anglican, friends of the Abbé Lacaille, then pastor of the parish. The year 1956 saw the only charcoal stove replaced by gas convectors, which provided better conditions for the cold-weather services.
In July 1957, the bell is electrified. It is in May 1960 that the facade of the church is finally finished. In April 1970, the gas heaters were replaced by forced air heating.
In 1994, restoration of the roof, change of the motor of the bell. In 1977, 40 years after its construction, the interior of the church is completely repainted.

 Eglise dont la première pierre est posée le 28 mai 1936 par Mgr Dutoit, évêque d’Arras, en présence de Gaston Durieux, maire de Saint-Martin-Boulogne et du Conseil municipal, sur un terrain offert par la famille Huret.
C’est au cours de l’été 1937 qu’est terminée la construction de l’édifice. L’architecte est Pierre Drobecq, l’entrepreneur Louis Martel, le staffeur, M. Duval, la maison Crouÿ, fournisseur des matériaux. (La façade n’est pas complètement terminée, il faut attendre encore de nombreuses années).
Les vitraux du chœur ainsi que le médaillon au-dessus de la porte d’entrée ont été réalisés en 1937 par le maître verrier Lothelier. Les autres vitraux ont été réalisés par le maître verrier Largillier en 1958 et restaurés en 1984 par MM. Bourdeau et Maeron.
L’autel actuel a été dessiné par le Père Houssin. Les travaux ont été réalisés par l’entreprise Ducrocq-Lengagne. C’est le 4 novembre 1956, qu’il a été consacré par Mgr Parenty en présence de l’abbé Dewatere, curé doyen de Saint Martin, du Père Houssin, de M. Fred Parkes et un de ses associés, tous deux de religion anglicane, amis de M. l’Abbé Lacaille, alors curé de la paroisse. L’année 1956 a vu l’unique poêle à charbon remplacé par des convecteurs à gaz qui procura un mieux être pour les offices en période froide.
En juillet 1957, la cloche est électrifiée. C’est en mai 1960 que la façade de l’église est enfin terminée. Au mois d’avril 1970, les appareils de chauffage au gaz sont remplacés par un chauffage à air pulsé.
En 1994, remise en état de la toiture, changement du moteur de la cloche. En 1977, soit 40 ans après sa construction, l’intérieur de l’église est entièrement repeint.
