FR Le hameau de Vières (vieille ville) est situé sur la commune de La Rochegiron, au pied des ruines d'un Castrum médiéval qui portait le nom de Rocca-Gironis.
L’église est construite à la fin du xiie siècle, et remaniée en 1559 ; il en subsiste le chœur à chevet plat et la tour du clocher, et une partie du mur sud.
EN The hamlet of Vières (old town) is located in the town of La Rochegiron, at the foot of the ruins of a medieval Castrum which bore the name of Rocca-Gironis.
The church was built at the end of the twelfth century, and rebuilt in 1559; there remains the flat chevet choir and the bell tower, and part of the south wall.
