I could not find anything about the meaning and origin of the flag. Until 2010, this was the flag of the district of Schwarzenburg, which then in administrative reform merged into the administrative region of Bern-Mittelland. One year later, the municipalities of Wahlern and Alblingen merged to the municipality of Schwarzenburg and took over this flag.

I found the flag together with those of Switzerland and the Canton of Bern over the entrance to a hotel in the center of Schwarzenburg.

Über die Bedeutung und Herkunft der Flagge konnte ich nichts finden. Bis 2010 war das die Flagge des Amtsbezirks Schwarzenburg, der dann bei einer Verwaltungsreform in der Verwaltungsregion Bern-Mittelland aufging. Ein Jahr später fusionierten die Gemeinden Wahlern und Alblingen zur Gemeinde Schwarzenburg und übernahm diese Flagge.

Ich fand die Flagge zusammen mit denen der Schweiz und des Kantons Bern über dem Eingang zu einem Hotel im Zentrum von Schwarzenburg.
