At the main entrance to the Ardmore Convention Center, a lovely rock waterfall meanders from one side of the entrance to the other. On the north side, Jim and Judy Dodson's sculpture "Freedom" catches your attention. This is a bronze sculpture of two eagles interacting in a nest. The sculpture is 41 inches tall, and depicts the two birds, not fighting, but interacting in the "Freedom of wildlife. The nest is also fashioned out of bronze "straw" which we found fascinating. A small plaque shows the name of the sculpture and its creators. A second plaque reads: "Funding for the sculpture and waterfall was provided in part by a generous contribution from Tommy C. * Billye Joy Craighead."
