These tufa crosses are a peculiarity of the Vimeu. We do not know anything about their origins and they are all mysterious. To discover them, to go around them, to find the best angle to photograph them will always be a moment of emotion.
Leaning against the wall of the cemetery that surrounds the church, this asymmetrical cross is curious with its column surmounted by a torus and its huge cube tuff.
The little tufa cross seems to have been deposited in the stone cube that looks like a holy water font. But why was it located outside the cemetery? All tufa crosses have some mystery

Le tuf est une roche tendre et poreuse formée par les dépôts calcaires de l'eau de source.
Ces croix en tuf sont une particularité du Vimeu. On ne connaît rien sur leurs origines et elles sont toutes mystérieuses. Les découvrir, en faire le tour, trouver le meilleur angle pour les photographier sera toujours un moment d'émotion.
Adossée au mur du cimetière qui entoure l'église, cette croix asymétrique est curieuse avec sa colonne surmontée d'un tore et son énorme cube en tuf.
La petite croix en tuf semble avoir été déposée dans le cube de pierre qui ressemble à un bénitier. Mais pour quelle raison a t-elle été implantée en dehors du cimetière? Toutes les croix en tuf ont une part de mystère.
