I recovered this U.S. General Land Office Survey section corner from 1937 in good condition. It's a brass cap mounted on an iron pipe projecting about 10 inches above the ground and next to a wire fence line and about 8 feet SW of a road sign and about 20 feet west of a telephone pole. The cap contains the designation stamping of 'WC SC 1/4 S 33' and the year '1937' stamped on its face. My posted coordinates will place you very close to this cap.
